Experience

Laurie has been the owner of Firefly Salon (formerly Annapolis Styling Group) for over 12 years.  She has been a stylist in the Annapolis area since 1983 where she has had the chance to work with some of the areas best!

Laurie is certified with Swartzkof and Alphaparf and Redkin color systems and has earned certifications in cutting and styling with Rusk, Paul Mitchell, Euphora and Wayne Grund to name a few.  She is also certified for 3 types of keratin smoothing treatments.

Laurie's greatest enthusiasm comes from working with color.  Whether it's blending just a few grays or a full head of muli-tonal highlights, achieving that transformation never gets ordinary!

With more than 10 years of increasing experience in the salon industry, Bethany has become a true professional in the field of hair style.  A native of Annapolis, MD Bethany has had the opportunity to study with the best in New York City.

Bethany brings back an exploding new technique for those with curls called DEVA.  Bethany is one of only several local certified DEVA inspired stylists.

Bethany's inspiration comes from her life long passion to bring out the best in hair style.  Her attention to detail brings out only the best in hair color. From color to cut, the finished product is nothing but head turning.

Denise Smith a local Hair designer 26 yrs. experience in the industry, a salon owner for 15 of the yrs. Denise has traveled to England to attend the Vidal Sassoon academy, as well as owner of Aveda salon she has traveled doing hair shows, traveled by boat to marinas designing hair along the way.

She has landed at The Firefly Salon taking appointment Tuesday - Friday 10am - 4pm, Saturdays 9am - 2pm and is

available in the evening evening upon request.
